I wanted to get it for the longest time but was unsure if it worked given the mixed reviews everywhere. But finally decided I should give it a try. Honestly better than I expected. When used straight after laser, it noticeably calms redness and irritation. It smells amazing and leaves the skin feeling super soothed and comfortable.

I’m still new to it, not much progress seen but the only thing i’ve seen so far is how light my hair is .. although my hair grows back fast.. this time my hair isn’t dark and thick it’s actually light (if you know what i mean) .. I’m still 2-3 weeks into using it!! but so far so good. :)

I bought the Illumi Pro as an at-home maintenance hair remover after years of professional laser hair removal. Pros: - affordable. Much cheaper than other IPL brands. - convenient. No appointments needed. Whip out the Illumi whenever you need and in the privacy of your own home. - the after laser cream is beautiful. It's very gentle and I love how my skins feels afterwards. - painless. Cons: - very slow. There is a delay between flashes so it can take up to an hour to do just one leg. - there are only 5 settings. I would prefer to blast the hairs. The highest setting doesn't feel strong.

I only had to use it couple of times as i have thin hair..took 3zaps a week on 4 and increasing to 5 when i felt confident handling the device. After week 2 hair stopped growing back. A little tip, if your skin has a tad bit of moisture on it, it may give you a little zap. It gave me a fright but once i dried the area with a towel it was fine.
